College Counseling
College preparation is a high priority at Trinity; typically, about 96% of our graduates go on to attend a four-year college.
Trinity’s strong academic program prepares students to fare well in national scholarship testing. The average Trinity ACT score is 24.6 compared to 19.8 nationally.
Under Trinity’s concurrent credit program, the average Trinity student graduates with 30 hours of college credit.
Concurrent Credit
- Classes are taught in Trinity classrooms where Trinity faculty serve as adjunct professors. Students earn both high school and college credit at the same time.
- Students pay an additional fee directly to the appropriate university.
- Concurrent credit fees, however, are significantly less than typical tuition at a university — just $75 to $80 per credit hour.
- Classes are taught during the regular school day. There are no evening classes.
College counseling
Trinity has a full-time college counselor dedicated to helping students prepare for tomorrow. From assisting with the college search process to navigating the complexities of college applications, our counselor ensures that students are well-equipped to embark on their higher education endeavors. Moreover, the counselor is actively involved in aiding students in their pursuit of scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
